    RoundTable Healthcare Partners Leads Portfolio Company Add-On Acquisition

    LAKE FOREST, IL, August 1, 2007 — RoundTable Healthcare Partners (“RoundTable”), an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that its portfolio company Avalign Technologies, Inc. (“Avalign”) completed the acquisition of Nemcomed, Inc. (“Nemcomed”). Nemcomed is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision machined medical implants and instrumentation for orthopedic specialties. Avalign is RoundTable’s platform investment in the medical device outsourcing market and Nemcomed is the third business acquired to create the platform. The other two businesses are Instrumed International, which specializes in the manufacturing and sourcing of premium quality surgical instruments, and Advantis Medical, a leading designer and manufacturer of medical case / tray organizing systems for surgical instruments, implants and medical devices. The financial terms of the transaction and RoundTable’s investment were not disclosed.

    RoundTable Healthcare Partners Makes Investment in Vesta, Inc.

    LAKE FOREST, IL, August 1, 2007 — RoundTable Healthcare Partners (“RoundTable”), an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that it has acquired a majority interest in Vesta, Inc. (“Vesta”). Vesta, based outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a leading supplier of silicone medical products to the OEM medical device industry. The Vesta management team, led by CEO Phil Estes, as well as owner-founders Chuck Heide and Glenn Hubbard, will retain a substantial ownership stake in the company and will continue to lead the management of the organization. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

    LAKE FOREST, IL, July 10, 2007 — RoundTable Healthcare Partners (“RoundTable”), an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that its portfolio company Aspen Surgical Products, Inc. (“Aspen”) has acquired Colby Manufacturing Corporation (“Colby”). Colby, based outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a leading specialty producer of single-use infection control products serving primarily operating rooms and other critical care environments. Colby was founded in 1991 by owners Aaron Heintz and Kathy Feuerman, who will remain with the business to aid in the transition. The Walden Group, Inc. represented Colby as financial advisor. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

These developments include Bioniche’s appointment of Steve Thornton as President and Chief Executive Officer, the completion of its previously announced $3.7 million acquisition of Aloprim (allopurinol sodium) for Injection from Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, and the acquisition of Esmolol Hydrochloride (“Esmolol”) from Metrics Pharmaceutical Ventures, LLC.

    RoundTable Healthcare Partners Facilitates Product Acquisition for Bioniche Pharma

    LAKE FOREST, IL, April 19, 2007 — RoundTable Healthcare Partners (“RoundTable”), an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that its portfolio company Bioniche Pharma Group Limited (“Bioniche Pharma”) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aloprim (allourinol sodium) for Injection, a branded pharmaceutical product, from Nabi Biopharmaceuticals for $3.7 million. Aloprim for Injection is indicated for the management of patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and solid-tumor malignancies who are receiving cancer therapy that cause elevations of serum and urinary uric acid levels.

    RoundTable Healthcare Partners Completes Acquisition of Advantis Medical, Inc.

    LAKE FOREST, IL, January 11, 2007 — RoundTable Healthcare Partners (“RoundTable”), an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Advantis Medical, Inc. (“Advantis”). Advantis is a leading designer and manufacturer of medical case / tray organizing systems for surgical instruments, implants and medical devices. Advantis will be combined with Instrumed International, Inc. (“Instrumed”). RoundTable acquired a majority interest in Instrumed in October 2005. Instrumed specializes in the manufacturing and sourcing of premium quality surgical instruments. The two companies will form a new medical device outsourcing platform operating under the name Avalign Technologies, Inc. (“Avalign”). The financial terms of the transaction and RoundTable’s investment were not disclosed.
